I’m a traveler of all time and space mostly Europe, the Balkans, and Asia Minor. Food and faces are what keep me going, with the occasional dip in the ocean and hike up a mountain for balance.

I speak English, French, Spanish, and Turkish, with smatterings of Thai, Georgian, Russian, and Bulgarian. My head is a mess, I once spoke 4 languages in 4 words to a very polite lady who did not understand a word of it. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What I actually do is a difficult question to answer … I’m a writer, editor, musician, songwriter, cook, teacher, and photographer, I think. Relentlessly creative, I get nothing done. Everything is interesting! And there’s always more to see, eat, and learn.
